Bricks 3 hr
Pair of Canada Geese & babies on pond.
Royce cleaning
Worked on info for ‘name’ field in data base. ‘Name’ meaning name on brick. Found we need that info to make finding brick easier. Originally data base set p as Line1 & Line2 which had ‘name’ info, but not usable to find bricks as some people had first name on 2nd line & last on first & vice versa.

Set out petunia plants to fill in bed by greenhouse.
Baked cherry pie.

To Marilee’s funeral at 1:00 with Mary & Geneva Brewer at Gompf’s in Cardington – Room overflowing. Had a ‘sermonette’ for grandchildren & at cemetery grandchildren released balloons to symbolize Marilee’s spirit rising to heaven!?! – Burial in SW Corner of Waldo Cemetery. Over 50 cars in procession & over 1,000 people called at funeral home.

Mary & I left for Cinci at 8:00 & met the Haldemans in the Rotunda of the Museum at former Union Terminal. The OmniMax Journey Through the Grand Canyon was inspiring. Holding Susannah’s hand, fingers clasped, noticed the constant jerking. Right hand didn’t do it.
David ran into a friend in the rotunda who had tried to give 2 journals written in the 1850’s by his ancestors. Was told they didn’t want them – by personnel of gift shop we think – So he gave them to David to read. Visited Dinosaur exhibit, Findlay Market & Eden Park to eat snack watching the Ohio River roll by.
To David’s office for a Ventura Publisher lesson. Then home & I read the fascinating journals of Ella & Mary Moody – & life in Cinci before the Civil War – called Gale Peterson, Director of Cinci Hist Soc & he regretted the brusqueness of an employee.
