Cleaned house somewhat & cooked dinner for Mary, David & Vivian Bratten. Vivian walked down on patio & looked around. David & I took tour around pond & down in the woods.
Had green bearns & ham with new potatoes – but Vivian doesn’t eat green beans! She used 4 lbs of blueberries to make a cobbler!

$45 season tickets Ameriflora
$19 – single day

OAHSM 3 hrs
Did laundry before picking Mary up to go to Grand Prairie Cemetery for Geneva Brewer’s funeral. Mary helping with lunch, but I wasn’t invited. Went to Sears to check on replacement seats for chairs on deck (one burned). Got corn at Crum’s stand & green beans, tomatoes, melon & new potatoes at Barks Rd. stand. Home for lunch – watering. Worked on Beech deck to finish judging local history publications entered in OAHSM awards. – 9 entries & I chose 5 to get awards. Thank goodness another judge votes too. Thought David might be up so didn’t go to Trinity for ‘Service of Praise’ for Geneva. Mary reported church was packed.

Slept until 8:30 – lazed on deck as Longs still sleeping. – Krystal determines rising time around here. She is darling, but is the focus of Kitty & Vince’s life. Doting parents who hang on her every word. But she is so loving, lively & amusing that we love her too.
Haven’t done so much of nothing in years.
Wes to Parry Sound about 4 & touted the town – Tower Hill Garden grew up around a Forest Service fire tower. At at Jolly Roger Inn on Mother’s rent money. Pickerel delicious – service terrible – $70 total Canadian.
