Worked on brick record reports. Picked Mary up at 11:15 & headed to Wright State Creative Arts Bldg – arrived about 1:00. Made mistake by getting food at Taco Bell – Back to CA Bldg & found Haldeman’s all there. Waved at Susannah when she looked at me (She had just waved to the Sapps in the balcony) and she turned away without waving & wouldn’t speak to me when I went up to her – shy?
Sarah’s Senior recital was exceptional – clear – fluid tones, perfect composure & time – Duet with Dave Sapp on clarinet was perfect marriage of flute and clarinet. Bach – Saint Saens, Hue. Not easy stuff. Harvey Meister had tears in his eyes. So moved by Sarah’s performance. He treated us all to Cozmel Mexican dinner after the reception. Karen fixed exotic foods – good. I gave her $35 toward it.
Home by 8:30.
Worked on Bricks report. Watched 2 hrs of RiverDance on PBS – Channel 34 – new program – Irish in America – Jean Butler & Colin Dunn.

Picked up Mary Jorden & met Mary Hecker at Bob Evans for supper.
Stopped at American & got update on Haldeman kids accts & withdrawl slips for David to sign.
Tried to learn how to create reports in FoxPro. It’s so easy in Foxbase – but I created the marriage data base in FoxPro!
Email from Kathi – She & Bob plan to drive to Ohio via OK city, St. Louis & be here for Mary’s birthday. Will bring & set up their computer for her. It’s the 486 that Dave had been using.

Met Norm Fogt & Jane Rupp at the black barn on Goe. K. Brown’s property on Firstenberger Rd to check MCHS items stored there. Think some items belong to George – Bentwood chairs, Oak divan? We have tables – display boards – post office box – sorting table – and 1 of the kitchen chairs from my childhood kitchen. Jane & Norm deaccessioned it to me.
Went to Heritage Hall & repacked all of Mary Prior’s items – couldn’t give them up. Then copied pertinent material from Doris Davis’ auction scrapbook including the 1824-1892 marriage records – Tiring!
Mary came out & I made list of her HH & EE Bonds – To Caledona to Bank & got copy of current values. Picked up pizza for our supper.
David called ‘Took my advice & didn’t go to work today’. He wants me to close Susannah’s acct at American – Hunted out all kids bankbooks & will close them all. David sounded much improved from yesterday.

Howard Mitchell brought my Day Before Yesterday & Hemmerly Genealogy back – and picked up his book ‘My Story’. Discussed possibilities of publisheing 50 to 100 copies at his expense. He wants to include transcripts of the 1860’s-1880’s letters that are in his book in original form (unreadable).
He will furnish copy that isn’t double spaced. I offered to transcribe & index.
Called David – He got home from hospital about 2:30 – He’s in much pain from spinal as well as ‘pins’ in ankle.
