67% in Caesar test we had last Thursday. Brilliant, more bs etc. Yes and then some. Got to ride home cause mother and Mary wanted daddy to take them up town to get Mary a pair of shoes. Went over to Pauline’s in evening.

Sunday March 8th 1931
Sunday School. Aunt Sylvia’s started home but 6 miles out it broke, so they’ll stay till morning.
Went out to Floy’s in P. M. After B.Y. popped corn and played cards with Bob.

Saturday March 7 1931
Went up town with Mother & Aunt Syvlia. About every 8 steps someone would stop and talk to A. Sylvia. Quite popular after being gone so long.
Down to Foglesons in eve. Quite a nice house. Bob started to take Pauline my home but doesn’t oh. Wait till I get my hands on him.

School shortened to 2:45 so those who wished could go to the tournament at Delaware. (Basketball) Took my time in going to library & home but stepped on it when I turned the corner & saw Shuster’s car. Donald {Schuster] & Aunt Sylvia here for wk-end.

G.R. Induction services in gym after school. Very impressive. All by candlelight. After formal part candy was passed & informal session followed.

A former teacher at Harding (Mr. Adams) gave a wonderful talk on “The Inner You” in assembly.
I’m reading the “Americanization of Edward Bok” a helping, ambitious, far-seeing human man.

Class meeting at Katherine Harvey’s home. Mostly members kids present.
Ate lunch on the floor. Very comfortable (Oh yes?)

Saw “Cimarron” at the Palace. A play base on the opening of Okla. I thought it was the most sdorrowful, gripping, realistic picture I had ever seen. Richard Dix & Irene Dunn.
