Taught Mary Sheneman’s primary class at Sunday school and nearly suffocated at church. After a chicken dinner, Flora, Dottie, Lucille, Uncle Jim, Joe, Mary and I drove up to Harrodsburg, Ky’s first town, and saw the Old Fort. Then over two big bridges over Dix River. Beautiful sunset over mountains.

Alice Marie MacMillan came over after dinner and I went calling with her on Franie and could she play the piano and couldn’t her brother play the violin. For the evening Alice asked me to go on a swimming party to Bluebird. But 19 in the back of a big truck. Loads of fun. Too cold for me to swim though.
