Call from Jack that Star needs info on Atrium ceiling and Museum cleaning closing and asking me to write it from what he had given me for Hallmarks- (it was eight pages of unusable material!) So spent morning writing it and story on Huber annual meeting. Took brick orders to Glen Gary, stories to Star. Ran into and talked to Mary Lawrence, managing editor. She gave slicks of Huber groundbreaking stories. Picked up Museum fund report from Mark Bauer and took final budget and print out of Star story to Heritage Hall. Took sandwiches to Mary for supper.

Board meeting went well told them I felt like a girl who had her first date with a boy she’d known most of her life. Jan Augenstein new trustee complimented me on making her feel so welcome and conducting such an interesting meeting. Voted to start atrium ceiling and lighting and close museums for 2 months.
