Saturday December 10 1932
Bernard Brooks came about 2:45 then Mary & Elwyn & then Bob E. Then in E’s Ford we went after Helen (She’s working at $ Kresges) & got Irene & Frances too. 8 in the Ford. Danced, played bridge & then E. took us all home. I’m afraid it was rather dumb.

Mary Baker & Helen & I went to Central Junior “Stunt Night”. Dick Gilmore acrobatics one of the numbers. Program good but the audience was terrible.

Shorthand A 93
Typing B 88
Went to Petit Salon meeting at Muriel McMurray’s. Had nice talk with Miss Starr.
Mary Baker came to stay till Sun.

Tuesday December 6 1932
Went to Mary’s after school. She curled my hair & for the B.Y. kid party I wore the pink dress I wore to Guild Halloween. Lots of cute outfits but it was rather dumb afterwards. Jimmy took Bernard, Mary & I straight home & he & H. went for a ride.

Sunday December 4 1932
Mother & daddy to Uncle Roy’s for dinner. Mary is still sick. About 12:00 I curled up in the big chair & slept till 2:30. So I didn’t have any dinner. B.Y. in evening but I came straight home. Read “Shadows on the Rock” Willa Cather. Bien.

Bernard Brooks came down about 7 to help with Hearld. About 8:30 Jim & Helen, Mary & Eliz Blair came. We went for a ride all & then Jim, Helen B & I.
