I can’t remember anything in particular. Same old rig-a-ma-roul. History- Latin- English- study- Algebra- Science- home.
It get’s tiresome.

Tuesday January 7 1930
Daddy brought home some affidavits Bindley’s printed for W.A.I.U. Took some to class meeting & got 6 signed. Had the best lunch. Meeting at Marjory May’s.
Went over to Hazel’s & asked about magazines but she wasn’t sure.

Ho-Hum. Hated to get up. Mrs. Crane for H.R. teacher & History. Could be a little worse. Kinda nice to get back on the job but kinda tiresome to.

Started back to school. Mrs. Crane taking Miss Crow’s place.
Went to Mamies to fix radio & got a subscription for L.H.J.
I writing Jan 16 from here to there.

S.S. Went out to Hazel’s & Homer’s for the best dinner. Went riding in P.M. & came back to Hufford’s for supper. Mary didn’t feel well & stopped at doc.on way home. Listed to Collier. Have to get up & go to school in A.M. to-morrow.

[Doris & Wilda Shuster – our cousins. Their mother- Aunt Sylvia was Daddy’s sister.]
Got started making vases from a jar, paper & paint. Doris & Wilda came about 2:00 & we decided to make a vase for Aunt Sylvia for her birthday Sat. The whole family here for supper. Centrial got beat by Bucyrus there 16-14. To bad.

Got coal this morning & this man woke us kids up. Read, loafed & worked. [Trella: The coal was delivered through a basement window & rattled down the chute to the coal bin.]

Stuck around home doing nothing.
