Call from Carroll Elsey wakened me. Wanted to talk so met him at shop- He’s contemplating suicide but Phil Boyd told him to find someone to love – So he picked me! – Told him I didn’t have time in my life for complications just as David walked in – Karen had visit to Dr. Davidorf in Columbus, her good eye is showing streaks. Will go in for freezing surgey tomorrow AM. They had Susannah – all smiles & blue grey eyes. We went to Gladies for lunch & to Guys & Dolls for gifts for all kids. When I called to see if my car was ready (took it in at 11:00) – no one had worked on it all day. Had it in for shock absorbers. When I god home Barb Cornwall called – I forgot to go to Eastlawn Manor to help her with Birthday Party.
