Howard Koehler from Inskeep called with Buick Skylark four-door for $8,500 but when I called David he said he had told Karen I let him make a decision for himself for once and wasn’t interested in saving $4,000.

Mailed Kathy’s box at post office. Dave in for guitar lesson. Learning to read music but complaining about his guitar. Wrote Kathi and sent her $500 for ticket for next October. That will make it 2 years since I’ve seen her. Guess both my kids have really flown the nest.

David called- found the car he wants- Honda Accord four-door 5 speed $12,500 with tax. Kennedy Ford had it $1,500 cheaper! Told him I would put $8,000 into Terradise Computer Systems for it.
Wrapped Kathi, Bob and Kris’s presents.
Mary and Ken out to use exercise bike.
Dave to Industrial Tech while I went to Altrusa Christmas dinner “Rainbow Express” kids chorus sang.

Got 50 letters mailed to Hildreths to sell more books and 50 more Christmas cards.

Wreck of two cars one ran up front bank. Sideswiped- foggy all day

Ensminger here to Tune Piano $30.

In town after school Dave- wanted to go to Christian bookstore- bought key ring and Christian rock tape. Got Christmas cards.
Watched end of “The Sun Also Rises” on TV. Stupid.

Called David to find out how to print SuperCalc genealogy in condensed type- it’s Escape Q.

He has been considering leasing a car so told him I would buy one with his share of next 10 years profits on Kemper fund. He suggested Terradise Computer Systems, Incorporated. I put the money in for shares and he buys car with it. Will have his lawyer draw up. Dave to morning church and evening BYF. Took Chris- very icy.

Kathi called can’t use the $500 I have for her to come home until next October. Sure is anxious to see me and Dave, isn’t she?

Sent Advent Sing invitations with Christmas letter to 25 families.

My AirDyne Schwinn exercise bike delivered. Mary and Ken out to try it. I ride comfortably at 1.5 for 6 minutes. Pulse rate 100 at finish.

Dave drank five bottles of Pepsi and is in a foul mood.
