In to HH at 1:00 to meet Betty Mann Kimball – She had Abigail Harding Lewis’ golf bag to donate to MCHS – Says she gave clubs to her daughter-in-law in Alaska.
Jack Telfer’s big news conference didn’t attract “Nationwide attention” – TV crews didn’t show up.
But it was exciting to know that Jack Kellogg’s & Richard Carey’s considerable collections will be available to public.
Picked up refurbished charcoal picture of David Hemmerly, Daddy’s father. Cleaned picture- re-painted frame & sealed back – $119.
Met Mary at Friendly’s Restuarant for supper.
Eula Rhoads gave me a working over because I “moved things” in Museum Shop – what I did was put map out sop people could see it. Had aksed her to do it several weeks ago & nothing happened. Someone put a display case across a front window in lobby.

Howard is 88 today – Kathi called to wish him “happy birthday”. She & Bob are expecting Susen to visit next week – last week in June they will fly to NY to visit her & go to Bob’s Class Reunion at Highland Falls.
Gave Howard 10 crossword puzzle books & 2 – 2 liter bottles of Sprite. He thinks is full of vitamins!
Gardened all morning. Cleaned up greenhouse some & worked on new bed at lower entrance.
Wrote letter to Guy Denny of Division of Natural Areas asking him to visit Terradise to evaluate it for a Nature Center for OSUM.*
At 4- Matt McCoy of McCoys Landscaping Service here. Did a walk around & he listed 6 projects I may want done. Will give designs & estimate in about a month. Was very interested in King Book & bought one.

Caught up on paying bills – income tax estimates – note to Kathy with return of her pictures.
Entered EHMA dues payments & ran records of past due members.
IOn at 3:00 to mee with Melinda Davies, Jack Telfer & John Hickson – They discovered that 5 files of photos were missing from locked files-!!

John & Jack so busy impressing Melinda that talked for an hour before asking for her input. She had 3 pgs of categories (not too great but good for student). Suggested contacting OHS for their system for their photo collection. Supper with Mary at Turroff’s.

Organized cash box with help from Howard’s “change jar” – Made signs on computer for King Book – to Lincoln Park at noon. Set up in the wind- blew all day. Video-taped activities – Barbecue – performa Art Show – Gasry Barnhart took over for me at 3:30 – Sold $145 both days.
Planned to mow bu so windy I didn’t. Worked out possible plan for will.
