Such a day. First Slim tipped me backward in my chair and sprawled me on the floor. Then I got sick and started for the restroom and nearly passed out until a couple of the shipping room boys caught me and took me up on the elevator. Went back to work at 2:00 & managed to stick.
Got a much nicer letter from Wally in answer to the one I wrote Monday.

Bill went to Logan and I had to see that a shipment of laces from National got on a hand truck so I was a little late getting to Aunt May’s. Such a good supper. Then Floy and I went to the Placque shop. Got some the daguerotypes[sic] like I made D and Wilda.* Home about 9:30 and talked until 11:30.

Got Rosina and then to Burtch’s. Mary beginning to look rather big all around. She asked us if Bernard Brooks had told us she was pregnant. Had lunch there and then all six of us went to BY. Bob and Mary up to our house afterwards. We took them home about 10:30.
They are truly happy even without anything but each other.

Up about 9 and fooled around until noon. Worked on budget. Walt, Daddy and I went to garden after dinner. Dug glad bulbs and cut corn. Beautiful day. Bathed- supper. Walt and I went over to Grandma’s to see Uncle Jim. Uncle Allen and family there too. Home about 9:30 wanted to go to midnight show but Daddy wouldn’t let us. So Wally just loved me.
