Planted corn & fertilized vegetable garden. Twisted me knee scooping water out of pond. Set out herb plants Karen gave me. She is in Vancouver BC area to attend Altrusa Convention. She is Pres. of Cincinnati Altrusa.

Cooked ham loaf & made cookies.

Worked on genealogy – on Riley family now.

Kathi called me at work. Overwhelmed by my birthday check for $400. – Mary Jordan had sent her the telegram Walt sent to her in Columbus the Saturday in 1941 when she was born. Had just returned from Cinco. Got up at 6 awakened by David’s tug at my toe as I slept in the living room. To market at 7 & the first customer patiently waiting. Helped uncoverr meat.

Then shopped for fruit & vegetables. Peaches 39 cents lb (79 in Marion) sweet cherries 3 lb $2 (1.29 lb in Marion).

Stopped at Ohio Historical Society & picked Mirror & Tribune newspapers that had been microfilmed. Had Virgil bring pallets out & we stored them in a corner of the chalet.
