I’ve been congratulated on the way I’ve made Barbara Smith behave. Went up town and got the hemstitched of my new dress. Worked on my memory book. M.P. and I went over to Aunt Ruth’s this evening.

Walt came down to Bible school to see if I got home. He was here until 12 last night. Doris and I went down to marry Burtches and sewed this afternoon. Was working on Bible school stuff when Walt came this evening. Played croquet and then we had a good time.

I didn’t go to Sunday school with the other kids. We waited around all day to see the Macon* fly. Finally went out to the airport about 6 and parked on a big hill. Not much activity and we waited until 10 with no results home 1:30.
*Airship – they are probably in Akron , since Marion did not have an airport in 1933, and certainly no hills!

Simply sweltering. Bible school started and I have six brats. Walt was about melted when he came this evening. He hadn’t had his supper. I sorta got dinner just before he left.

It’s so hot and I walked to Mary’s but she wasn’t home. Then went to Junior Guild formal initiation. Those kids are rather fun. Layman’s brought me home.
