S.S. Had a good Sun. dinner. Took Norma Jean to the doctor. Aunt Sylvia’s here for eve. & Doris helped me get some hobbies.

Saturday February 22 1930
Worked hard & I mean it after Tody left. Went over there in the P.M. & worked on a story about the clothes pin episode last night. Fanny, Floy & Norma Jean came unexpectedly for the week end.

We worked on the Cauldron (name for annual selected)
Had pep assembly this morning. A woman talked about fires. Had a fire drill this afternoon. (Just a little one off in the middle of a class)
The second of a series of games with Vernon. We got beat- only 20-15. Not so bad but—-. I came home with Trella as a general thing today.

Trella forgot to write this yesterday so———
Girls & Boys Glee Club sang “Farewell” song. Girls Reserve meeting (Short business) Some kids got mixed up in M.A. & wwent into the wrap room instead of the exit- in the meeting.
Trella worked on her story for English. Mr. Mouser named it “Lost” for her.

Wednesday February 19 1930
Got the hobbies well started. Mr. Baker ill & Mrs. Crane taught us Science. Pauline down & I recopied the names for hobbies she helped me.
Studying is not any fun.
Sure nice weather. About 70

Tuesday February 18 1930
Getting down to real business in the annual. All assignments made. Mine 15 pages.
Met the girl living at Ebert’s. Delores ? Hufine.
Tody & I went skating after supper.

Monday February 17 1930
I like working on the annual but its hard not having any study period. Went to library. Thew stopped in to Bindley & got a subscription. No luck at Hazel or Dot Shuster’s.
Studied till 10:10 P.M. Good nite.

Sunday February 16 1930
S.S. Mrs. Epley not there. Mrs. McKeever taught us. Started the story we have to have for Fri. in Eng.
Tody & Buddy came over in P.M. Made fudge.
Daddy worked on chicken coop about all day.
Mary out to Aunt Sylvias.

Saturday February 15 1930
Mary & I went to “Sunny Side Up” starring Janet Gaynor. Wonderful.

Had Valentine & Pep Assembly. Like annual real well. Only I wish it would get a name.
Game with St. Mary’s. Beat them 67-7. Some game too one-sided.
