Margaret Ann called about 1:00. Paris died in hospital at 11:00. Went in Monday – fluid in lungs and still no relief from pain. A hard 2-year fight. So sad that Helen kept him on the laitrile diet – He could at least have enjoyed food.

Howard with me to get screws to fasten original game table top to iron base.

Worked on sorting Sheneman papers all day as I had both typewriters at shop.

Temp 66 today and so am I!
Howard gave me a check for $500 for “Birthday & easement of utility bills.”He’s a dear & so appreciative of any kindness. Makes me ashamed of my selfishness. Vot ed & mailed Round Robin letter to Don Shuster. Shop people gave me 4 kinds of microwave cookware & Lil baked a hickory nut cake. Kathi tried to call & my phone was off hook from my call to her last night.

Conference with Judy & Kass on odds & ends I have to dispose of. Carl Nagley gave me pink sweetheart roses & Kathi sent a red rose. Up to see mother & picked up quilts at Fairground Street. Home for supper. Mary Jordan had been out & left powder. Read.
