Sunday August 10 1930
Took Eleanor to S.S. with me. Went to the Sheneman Reunion for dinner. Just so-so. Had ice cream and left-overs for supper & then the Clev. folks started home.
Wades (Some of the Bindley Bunch) were here & helped us eat popcorn.

Saturday August 9 1930
Mother’s birthday.
Read “Girl Scout Stories” & part of “Young Man from Manhattan”. George, Gatha, Eleanor,& Howard Gohdy, Gertie, Fene, George Sheneman & a Robert from Cleveland at 3:30. Grandma, Uncle Meck & Uncle Allen call here for supper. Made ice cream.

Friday August 8 1930
Went to “High Society Blues” starring Janet Gaynor & Charles Farrel. Wonderful. “I’m in the Market for You” & “Just Like a Story Book”
Went to library while Mother took Wilda to [illegible] Chased all over town trying to find chocolate drops but no luck. Stopped at Hazen’s on way home.

Thursday August 7 1930
Dickey came over in the morning for all day. Got and answered a letter from Tody. She’s at her Grandma’s. Mrs. Chambers over in afternoon as well as grandma. Made ice cream for supper. Uncle Meck, Grandma, Dickey & Wilda as guests. Took Dickey home & went to see Mrs. Welch.

Doris had a cold and didn’t go to S.S. with me. Terribly hot. Mary & Wilda made some fudge and it didn’t get hard. Tody over. She’s going to Nevada this week. Pauline to Mich. Aunt Sylvia decided Doris’ cold too bad to stay. Boo
