Labor Day.
Daddy’s Birthday
Played school with Mary.
Ruby wanted me to take care of her kids while here & Tom went to the show – 15 cents.

Sunday August 31 1930
Rained so hard we couldn’t go. About 11:30 we started out in the rain with our lunch. Car stalled north of Delaware & we ate our lunch in the car in the rain. Finished the day with a 130 mi. Drive around Zane Caverns & etc.

Saturday August 30 1930
Pauline & I went up town to get my books & eat.
Daddy got our school supplies at Bindley
Keep Rubies kids 20 cents.
Made plans with Aline to go along with them to Huron after fruit.

Friday August 29 1930
Daddy went to State Fair with Ed Bindley. I baked a wonderful cake.
Went to Ohio. WIll Rogers in “So, this is London”. Terribly funny.
Picked out my school books at Reeds.

Thursday August 28 1930
Pauline & I went to library. Never saw so many good books.

Wednesday August 27 1930
Went after Mary in eve.
