Everything for our comfort supplied. To Cypress Gardens A.M. Lunch in Winter Haven. THen to Warren & Fran Seckels & ride to Cypress Gardens in Warren’s boat. Delightful.

Beers’ picked me up at 12:30. David & Karen at Port Columbus to see us off too. Sunny & 50 in Marion. Cloudy Cincinnati but cleared as we were over Georgia. Took Limousine from Tampa to Lake Alfred. Howard’s home is so clean and comfortable.

Picked up tickets & got Traveller’s checks with Genevieve. David, Karen & I had dinner at mother’s & showed movieds of Kathi & Kris. To see Marion Little Theater Play “Ten Little Indians” with Karen & David.

Genevieve called & said she’d go with me to Lake Alfred [Florida] to visit Howard [Howser]. Made reservations for Sunday. To Grand Prairie area to give bird talk. Asked questions for 1 hr.

Stopped at House of Design to pick up bookcase backpience & when Genevieve Beers asked about Howard I said why not go down with me next week?

1″ snow this A.M. so mother didn’t go to Claiborn with me for wedding. Got home about 5 & Karen & David skiing down hill. Meatloaf supper & talked.

Saturday, February 14, 1970
Sold out plants & cut flowers so should make some money this holiday. Jen Kilbury helped Isabelle in showroom. Bob Hinklin & David helped Betty on deliveries. – Water pump out wagon out of use.
