Took Mother to Dr. Imbody. Her eyes are fine – better vision in right than left. Says get glasses adjusted.
Got estimate from Ford & Dodge on fender damage. Dodge cheaper. Hair cut & set – gray showing through nicely. 2 weeding appointments. Plenty busy. Martha Smith not in – Connie & Debbie both off – Jackie doing weddings.
To Edna Hatfields for ham dinner & then to OSUM for Pat Paulson – On Comedy Through the Ages – Hilarious.

Much funeral work including Joh Hunt who was murdered Sunday night near Brocklesby.
Martha in & did some funeral work & couple of centerpieces. Refuses to “group work” – the only way we can really turn out funeral work fast.
To baby shower for Jackie Mitchell at Anne Shultz – She’s due April 1. Then took my courthouse notebook to Carroll at Van Oostens & got the job of taking information to our new lawyer in Columbus tomorrow. Bed 12:00.

Low 16
Took Mother & Mary with me on a delivery to Morral, then on out to Loren Bakers. He & Jessie with us to his dad’s Dick Baker in Forest to look at old pictures. Only found 2 of interest. Suzanne Zimmerman & Simon Baker with their children including my grandmother Sarah & one of them with their grand-daughters, including Lillie Hemmerly. Dick took us to dinner at “The Freight House” restaurant that opened last November where Dick had hauled frieght for 40 years with a team of mules. Dick is 94 & gave me a sack of carpet rags.

First Ohio Group Investors guy lost interest real quick when he learned I only would invest $1,000 not $6,000. Glad he didn’t take my $1,000.
Cold – only 25 high today. Miriam Stowe in & gave me her families history & the Bowen House.
Box of sagebrush & historic RR ties arrive from Kathi & remains of a bird. I’m sure it is an eagle! & it’s “illeagle” to possess one.

Howard recovering from a strp throat so he didn’t want to go to the Ohio State Historical Museum with me after Waldo wedding so I came home from it the “back way” through snow showers. Later we drove to Clearfork reservoir & saw Red Head ducks in one corner.
