Howard asked me to bring a stapler out for him to use next time he’s in the shop so I told him Judy didn’t want me in the shop anymore. Finally.

Paul Miller from Boyd’s called to order a spring arrangement for private services for Phyllis tomorrow evening. There will be a memorial service Wed at Oakland Church.
Into MCHS Center about 11 & started cleaning up the 2 rooms upstairs. Wayne Harper came to put cellar steps back in. Had to remove them to get the pallets down there to store the bound newspapers. Told me it was his birthday – 66.
Irma Campbell came about 1 & we starting taking up 3 layers of linoleum. Went to her house for cookies she had baked & coffee to have a little party for Wayne. Picked up Dorothy (his wife). After “party” we all pulled off wallpaper upstairs. Then wen to Rinks & bought tile for back entrance room.
Up to see Mother before picking up a pizza & home – Dead tired.
Bath – TV

Answered Dr. Geo. Bain’s survey on District Meetings surveys. Sorted things.
Suppository at noon & enema at 2:00 & bath for physical at 4:00. Blood pressure 140/88 on second reading. Told him I was emotionally upset so he said come later to read it again.
But everything else OK – “within normal range” – Even suggested I give blood! – didn’t think I was over 65. Did a rectal & Pap smear – no polyps – hemmeroids – everything OK.
Call from shop & found that Phyllis Boyd died. Up to see Mother – She’s driving everyone nuts checking to see that her door is unlocked. Stopped at shop to leave “Liabilites of Corporate Officers” – Mary’s key – David’s stubs from Hemmerly’s stock. Almost afraid to setp inside. Out to Sears & bought a 2 drawer filing cabinet $84 – will be one pedestal for desk in rec room.
Heart broken all day because Judy didn’t have the guts to come to me about her complaint of my being in the shop. Making David do her dirty work was cowardly.
