To Vornholt for teeth cleaning. FIlled out FTD every 5 year questionaire & Business census form.
To Straub’s with Martha to order spring artificial. Back to shop to complete 1975 figures. Total Sales $338,000 – total receipts $324,000 – up 14 thousand from last year. Sales up $20,000. Dec. sales $49,000 – Receipts $30,000.
Back to Straub’s for dinner and then home & paid bills. Paid my July-Dec Salary, $10,000 – Tax deductions were $3,300!

Awoke at 10:30 – Watched Rose Bowl Parade until Kathi brought kids about 12:30. She went in to do bookwork. Kids & I made sand sculpture cacti gardens. Had sauerkraut & David’s special sausage. Napped from 4 to 6 & watched half-time bands & last half of Rose Bowl game – UCLA beat OSU 23 to 10!
Watched Fred Astaire & Debbie Reynolds 1961 movie. Still recouping from Christmas. No pep!

Howard had musical watering can & chikadee feeder & covered bridge feeder for me. I gave him shirt & electric blanket. Kathi & kids out about 12 & had a time restraining them from bags Santa left. Mary, Rocky & Mother arrived about 2 & David, Karen & Sarah about 2:30 – Utter confusion, but fun. Kathi gave me 3 musical angels from the shop & pop corn popper & History of America. David & Karen gave pictures of Sarah. Had fresh callie cooked in Corningware & sweet potatoes dinner. Everybody left about 6.
