Took Martha & Sis to Engels Open House. Paulina DeSantis commentator. Home about 6:00. TV & wrote letter to Gov. Rhodes to cover our protest of pollution of Scioto. Have 300 signatures.

11 AM St. Mary’s wedding – busy Saturday in showroom.
Fried pork chops for my supper. 4 cats love to come in for the evening at lap sit.

House & Garden Unit visited shop.
Evening at home reading & TV

Thursday, November 6, 1969
Martha & I to Columbus to see Bob Thomas Christmas program. Shopped Lazarus. Stopped at Community Memorial Hospital to see Maggie- asleep. To Quest Club – Bought $4 jersey dress.

Wednesday, November 5, 1969
Slow day – unpacked candles. Maggie went to hospital. Art class at Edith Keelers. Spray paint on pressed leaves.

Tuesday, November 4, 1969
12 – 14 yr old girls at shop from 6:30 to 7:30. Martha & I showed & they did a dried arrangement.

Monday, November 3, 1969
Martha baked a cake & Sis bought ice cream & nuts for my “birthday party.” Flower arranging class had 16 doing dried arrangements.

Sunday, November 2, 1969
Still cloudy – Scrapple for breakfast. Left cabin about 9:30 & drove 80 miles to get 50. Color good bu not enough light. David & Karen out. Went across river. Brought me new name sign.

Saturday, November 1, 1969
Up at 7 & back to Mt. Gilead to pick up Bernice Thompson. Back to cabin at 10 & hiked in rain. After lunch drove 6 of us through park to Lucas – Johnny Gill there! Cost of food and cabin – $9.65

Friday, October 31, 1969
Couldn’t get Bernice Thompson on phone & went to her apt. (I thought) & she wan;t there so Edith Keeler & I took off for Mohican & Burroughs Club outing. Bernice not there!
