Turned cold but Randy here working when I got home at 6:30.

Picked up Randy Underwook to help clean up garden. Got honey locust pods cleared. Transplanted walnut trees squirrels had planted. Davy sure enjoys the outdoors & Kristi too.

Mary Baker &* Loren at Mother’s so she invited me to lunch too. Davy at shop PM while Kathy at Red Cross. 3 salesmen. To Kathi’s for supper – also Mary B & Mother. Called Shorty to see if she wants Pic’s job.

Thursday, March 25, 1971
Really loafed all day. Heard Wood Ducks. Burned honey locust pods. Washed hair. To Kathi’s to baby sit while she attended last German class. Home about 11:00.

Wednesday, March 24, 1971
Had Genevieve in at noon so I could go to Decker’s at 4:30 for supper. Mary & Rocky stopped & stayed. Walt & Olgua, Kathi & Davy to Don to Port Columbus for 7:30 plane back to Viet Nam.I baby sat Kristi.

Tuesday, March 23, 1971
Max Ross spoke at Altrusa on law enforcement in Marion Co. – so I pull out of Garden St. & head E. on Center Street! It’s been one way west for 6 or 7 years!

Monday, March 22, 1971
Left shop at 4:30 to take Don & Kathi to Columbus. China comparison shopped at Lazarus. David & Karen drove up from Cincinnati & we had dinner at Persutti’s. ($36.40 including wine). Just beat a 2″ snowstorm getting home.

Sunday, March 21, 1971
In to shop but Kent, Martha & Sis had the 27 funeral pieces almost done by 11. At 12 I drove to Killdeer – 200 geese & 100 ducks on pond 3. Just got home & Pic came with Jan & Marissa from Italy & 2 month old Janet. Had turkey dinner for family in new room. Movies & slides.

Saturday, March 20, 1971
Did 54 funeral pieces + regular Saturday. Had 4 small & 1 large wedding which I serviced in Prospect. Called Mary to pick up turkey & she said she would cook it for tomorrow.
