Then to Brown’s House Restaurant as guest of Doris Hickson for colonial dames 20th annual luncheon. Bought a stained glass owl for $3.50 It’s the “Owl Creek Trail” chapter. Picked up Ruth Sloan’s carpet at Sears & took to her house. She couldn’t get it in her car. Home to pay Royce $35 this time but will be $25 from now on. $5 an hr. for cleaning!!!

In to Mother’s house. Mary had cleaned yard. I worked inside on stuff from attic.

Met Heckers & Jordans at Turoff’s & went to Palace with Jordans to see Don Cooper’s film on Lewis & Clark trail through Montana. Funny as usual. [sic?]
