Greg Warne set his brother Doug in! 3 delivery people in 3 days! But all smooth. Gang collected $50 for hand loomed coverlet for me. I gave them over $2,00 in bonus. Supper at Mary’s & gifts. Ga e me a “Meal in Minute” sealer.

Thursday, December 23, 1971
Greg in to help with deliveries. More poinsettias from Clev Plant. Worked until 9:30 & have things pretty well up.

Wednesday, December 22, 1971
100 poinsettias in this AM (Claprood’s & Long’s) & all gone tonight. Terry going to NY tomorrow – breaking in Gary Warne. Shopped Frank’s. Gang still working when I left to judge Wood Valley Christmas lighting contest at 9:30.

Tuesday, December 21, 1971
Granville Smith stopped in after birding at Killdeer all day. Debbie Leply gets deliveries out after I route. Mary Rockwell delivered outlying areas. To Margaret Smith’s for dinner at 6:30. Altrusa Board.

Monday, December 20, 1971
The 300 poinsettias of Saturday night are down to 110 tonight! To Mother’s for lunch – Howard there making gerave blankets. Worked till 9:30 & didn’t got to Burroughs Club or Erickson’s Carol party.

Sunday, December 19, 1971
Cleaned purse & wrote checks. In to shop at 11:00. Maggie organizing poinsettias. Debby Leply helping. Roberts wdding at Greenwood U.M. Worked at shop – cleaning, organizing until 6:30. Fried liver for supper. Made bog [?]

Saturday, December 18, 1971
St. Mary’s & Grace Baptist weddings. Debbie Lepley takes a lot of responsibility off me. Worked until 7:30. Grocery shopped.

Friday, December 17, 1971
Fairview cancelled 100 poinsettias I had ordered. Terry Green delivery (OSU) usual mistakes. Sent Mary & Rocky to Urbana for Poinsettias. Snowed & slippery.

Thursday, December 16, 1971
Kathi called shop just as I got there. House in Mehlingenl ready for them with shipment of household goods in it. Davy sick on plane & Kristi cried 3 hrs “go home”. Don bought ’71 VW 411 $3,200.

Wednesday, December 15, 1971
24 corsage deliveries & 30 centerpieces for New Car Dealer party. Had Carolyn all day. Andy Arndt called cancelling 100 poinsettias I had ordered in August. Tried to get more. Funeral work to Caledonia. Howard had cleared away the house mess.
