Will have Pic everyday through Christmas. – so busy. Reuben Smith making grave blankets, but not fast enough. Artisans Christmas show committee at shop to make 2 6′ wreaths.

No delivery personnel! Shop back to normal from open house. Had to call Pic in at noon.

Thursday, November 23, 1972 Thanksgiving
Up at 10:00. Stopped at shop to show David my monthly reports. To Mary’s at 2:00 for 17 lb. turkey (I bought, she cooked) Delicious dinner. Made bags of leftovers to freeze. Kids left about 6:00.

All worked late & had all orders up by 11:00 PM.

Wednesday, November 22, 1972
Fritz Freeman a real trial on deliveries but we made it & then I fired him. Didn’t run out of bronze & yellow poms until 5 PM. David & Karen in about 10:45. I had supper & showed Europe slides.

On marion TV at 9:45 talking about Marion Co. History re-issue. Sun shining today. Finished installing new furnace air conditioner at shop. Skipped Burroughs – made tape for Howard & Kathy.

Sunday, November 19, 1972
Roger & I cleaned garage. I transplanted in greenhouse. Raked leaves in rain & 40 degrees. Wedding at New Bloomington. Made chili for Mary, Rocky & Mother but Mary called – bad weather report. Watched Patton on TV.
