Davy & Kristi called Sally my “putzfrau”. Made about 10 terrariums. Howard & kids & I to Koehl’s for strawberries. Kids fight some & then love each other when I discipline them. Rowed & raked duck weed out of pond.

To Mary’s for supper – kids there all day. Her Kodacolor 5×5 are art pieces. Gave me an amber necklace & chocolate. To Altrusa Business – gave report on changing dinner meeting place. Packed up kids & home about 10.

Monday, June 11, 1973
Took kids in to ROcky’s about 10 & picked them up at 6:30. To Twein Fair & got some swim suites, socks & shorts – $18 worth. Box with summer things hadn’t arrived.

Sunday, June 10, 1973
In to do weddings & then picked up Kristi & Davy at Walt’s. Told them only that Kathi may be coming home. Marcella & Marsha K here evening & bathed & read to kids. Had to tell them of situation. Called Kathi & she wants to go back for Italy trip.

Saturday, June 9, 1973
6 weddings all ok. Kathi called Mary & said she would be home in about 2 weeks. To Bucyrus & I showed European slides to Kuehnle’s Sunday School Class.

Thursday, June 7, 1973
Kris up at 7 – Davy still had fever. Kristi & I rowed on pond & with Davy looked for frogs. Kristi with toy lawn mower announced “I laundried this lawn.” Napped PM. Took them to Mary’s then to Walt’s for 2 days. To 1933 class planning – out with L & J

Friday, June 8, 1973
Kathi called from Wiesbaden about 6. Said Don had taken Inge to their house & locked her out. She wanted to come home immediately. I persuaded her to wait for a D[illegible] flight. Dinner at Mary’s & they told me of the situation.

Wednesday, June 6, 1973
Went to sleept at 5 this AM! Read moist of night. Bought 2 dresses at Suttons – Paid $600 on 633 Bordeaux. Picked Mother up at 6 and brought her here to wait for Mary & Rocky & Davy & Kristi. Arrived 8:30. Darling kids.
