Hot – 96 – Kathi in to shop & home about 10. Kids here. Ready to go to Whetstone Pool at 3:30 & my car wouldn’t start. Mary, Rocky, Mother, Paris & Helen out for picnic.

In at 12:00 for wedding at Trinity. Then Mary & Rocky & Mother, Kathi & Kkids & I went to visit Loren Baker & his bride Jesse. Took wax pictures as gift. To see Mary Baker at Upper Sandusky. Marcella, Lisa & Marsha for visit here.

All day at home – & no company. Transplanted cuttings that rooted while I was gone. Weeded bank below patio. Billed weddings.

Kathi started working at shop in office. Bought new calculator ($79) & attache case ($35). Keith Brashear out here. Wants to work full time & help in management. I don’t really trust him.

Saturday, August 25, 1973
Keith broke ankle so I had to set up & service 5 weddings. Isabelle didn’t read work list so had to do hers. I was put out. Shop not busy except me!
