Altrusa dinner at Women’s Club Home with Adams Catering. Had 43 show when we had made only 37 reservations. Used ceramic pumpkins & straw flowers for decorations. Judy Johnson on “Cere”.

Kathi had cable from Bob. “We can keep kids” – Kathi so excited. She plans to go over Nov. 4th to make plans. Beautiful day. Temp 65. Sunny & trees finally turning. Cleaned purse.

Doris & Virden Ault & Zelda Flowers from Kenton here to exchange genealogical info. Zelda is Conrad Hemmerly II granddaughter. Mother, Mary & Rocky, Kathi & kids for bean supper. David & Karen stopped on way home from Mary’s.

11:30 wedding – 4 at 2:30 & Jill Young at 6:30 in Galion. Kathi had tickets to Strauss concert in Columbus & Keith too sick to go & I was too tired so she took Lillian Connelly.

Davy here AM – Kristi PM. Didn’t get much done. Mowed grass and leaves with new push mower. Sorted slides into new projector tray carousel.

Only 6 at flower arranging class for Artisans. Erma Hutchman to help me. Then to Board Meeting Historical Society. John Geer can’t make decisions any better than Charlton Myers. To Kathi’s to pick up Davy to bring here.

Martha called at 9 saying money gone from cash register & my drawer again $111. Back door was unlocked. Called police & they came to investigate. Priced Shenendoah wreaths. I wrote to Bob. To Anton Guitarist Concert.

Kathi had letter from Bob – will never accept raising her children, but begging her to marry him. How can he say he loves her & put her under such stress?

Marcella Haldeman, Kathi, kids & I to Hocking County (Hiking County as the kids call it). Beautiful sunny day. Dug ferns at Mrs. Risch’s woods on SR 180. Lunch at Cantwell Cliffs. Kids well behaved. Home at 8.
