Had 8 weddings to service but everything went smoothly. Connie and Debbie do great on getting them ready. Dave did all the church and reception work- I serviced 3. Gwen Manter (Earl, my accountant’s daughter) at 1:30- aisle cloth pulled loose after “help” from usher’s girl friend.
Made out bonus list: Dave $500 Kathy and Martha and Connie $300 each Laura and Deb $200 and $400 for all the others
Would cost $200 to have the old school bell mounted outside shop so may bring it home. Marcella Haldeman stopped in and we had good chat

They picked up the car – Silver air conditioned & came out for supper. Barbecued country ribs.
Drugstore had 3 card display cases to sell for $20 each so bought them.

Bob’s car won’t be ready tomorrow in Zanesville as planned so Kathi & he contacted Dodge here & Charlie Evans made a trade for a new Aspen Dodge. But would have to be cash so I offered to finance him. He got $1,400 for his Maverick but needed $4,039 to clear loan on it.
Got the muntions in the large shop windows & they look great. I protested the 6” sheeting pieces above bay windows.

Lunch with Don Woodland at Scotch & Sirloin then toured WDIF Studios. Decided on red white & blue bow only on key ring as our give away for Open House. Dave got shelves up along south wall of workroom. Staff meeting at 6 to outline Open House plans. Took those who wanted to Gatewway Smorgasbord. Then back to shop – Martha still working on sorting etc. Sent files & display counters to Jesionek’s Body Shop to be spray painted.
Talked to Mary about having a Hemmerly reunion July 18.
