Rita called tonight all sweetness and “reasonable”. In analyzing her conversation I found she had probably lied. “Using a form our lawyer supplied on where our income goes Don comes out with a negative balance. Even tho we need baby sitters because I work that is counted as Don’s expense against his salary.” Her threat this time was “If it goes to court will ask for a paternity test for Dave as he has reason to believe he is not his father.” The threat last week was “We will subpeona Hemmerly’s Flowers records to show that Kathi is able to support Dave.” I shot that down by telling them to come look at Hemmerly’s records. Bob Stout left today on a three week vacation & I feel sure she timed this contact to pressure me into a decision while he is gone. Of the $150 Don says he’ll pay $50 has to go to college fund. Same as he had always paid.

Kass out for lunch to discuss Judy’s lack of assuming authority & to learn to read a financial statement. In at 3:30 for conference with Dick Bryson on MCHS. I admire his ability to focus on organization was a way to accomplish goals. To Turroff’s with gang. Down to see Mother.
