Cleaned like mad all day for Connie’s shower with the shop girls. Some came early enough to enjoy daff’s down in the woods. Served horderves to early comers. Had games from bridal shower books. Connie got mostly kitchen things. I gave her a 6-piece set CorningWare and Lillian gave her the larger pieces matching.

Took kids to school at 8:15 and Kathy and I to work. She helped Cheryl and Kass on billing. She picked up kids at 12:30 and visited Hutchmans, Randy Woessner, mother, Mary and Rocky and others so she had about five minutes to walk in the woods. The kids and I enjoyed it while she packed. To Columbus for 4:40 TWA Flight that didn’t leave until 5:30.
I stopped at Highbanks Park north of Columbus. It’s a beautiful park. From 23 to Olentangy is 2 miles all park. As I got ready for bed at 7 I realized it was Don Cooper at travelogue but was too tired to go. Kathy called at 10 in hotel in Minneapolis. Toad singing mating songs.

Kathi up for Sunrise Service with Mary. Kids woke me when Chris couldn’t find her Easter basket from Kathi (on top of refrigerator.) Howard did mine for them outdoors so now they think the Easter Bunny left them. Kathi, Davy, Kris, Mary and mother and I to Cincinnati at 12. Picnic on way. Spent afternoon in their backyard. Standing up most of time and I was so tired. Josh growing, but slept most of the time. Basement entrance through wall. Sent out for supper. Home about 10.

Up at 6:30 and drove to Findlay with my 16 rolls of 36 exposure slides to take them to Kodak for developing. Made 200 bows while waiting. Shopped- got mother a house dress- to beauty shop for cut and set $11- to Flowerland for short visits in back to pick up slides at 2 p.m. Back in Marion at 3 and very busy. Lance in from West Park and Engel. Wanda Straub in for phone. Home at 7 and looked at slides for 2 hours. Mostly very good and a few fine shots. Bed 10:30. Mrs. Nolan called and said I’d have to take them to court to collect my deductible for when Mr. Nolan hit me.
