Saturday May 13th 1978
I routed every minute all day. Mike – Sue – Dave Knapp all day and Barry Baker a.m. and again about 5.
Front room crowded all day but had plenty of plants and flowers. Took no orders for delivery today. Designers had delivery orders all done by 3 but plenty will-calls to work on. I left at 7:30 for delivery in east side of county. Drove 27 miles- 7 deliveries in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Routed all day.

Thursday May 11th 1978
I think it was a beautiful day but I was too busy to notice.

Wednesday May 10th 1978 Sun Shone about 4 and temperature 65!
Walked in woods and found family group picking trilliums.
Delivered funeral and 2 arrangements before going to work. Dave Knapp took morning delivery. Unpacked Randall “sale” shipment and they are some really good buys.
David called from Grand Canyon. Been averaging 550 miles a day 6 miles per gallon. Wanted to know about meter on camera. I loaned him my NikkorMat FTN and zoom and 35 mm lenses.
Supper at Turoff’s with gang* and everybody in fine fettle. Invited them for Memorial Day picnic when Kathi and family is here.
Made sloppy joes for tomorrow night. Ground beef $1.29 at Reece’s!

Sent daff arrangements to WMRN, Consumer News and Star for publicizing my Open Garden. Took mother on deliveries North.

May 7th 1978 cloudy temp 50 Open Garden
Not nice weather but the daffs gorgeous. 175 signed register, but must have been over 200 here. Buehlman’s, James Brown, Bertha Young, everyone so appreciative of opportunity to see the garden.
