Busy! Ran out of turkeys but substituted and sold over 100 total Cash & Carry. Kept everybody busy on funeral work and centerpieces. Diane and I ran one delivery 12 and 55 minutes and Terry did all the rest.
David and Karen in at 10 PM from Cincinnati and kids wide awake. Had cheese snack and sauteurne [sic] from David’s customer- homemade- sweet and good.
David had first slides from his new Canon AE-1 excellent lenses and exposures. My slides back of Cincinnati trip composition improving.
Bed at 1.

Mrs. Jones here to clean. First time since October. Howard washed the windows yesterday. Still gorgeous weather temperature 66 degrees.
Isabelle in to work and Nell & Lillian. Pretty busy. To Ponderosa for supper and ate with Isabel and Chester. Reminisced about former employees from Don Stull through Kent Feaver, Kent Haycook, Keith Brashares, Gretchen Haley, Sue Swartz, Jane Barr! We’ve really had some doozies.
To board meeting at Bowen-DeWolf house. Carroll’s resignation read and accepted with regret. Letter from Mrs. Lutton saying furniture is in Ann Arbor, come and get it. Letter from Iris Adams claiming to be Eber Baker’s granddaughter from Redding, California.

Girls “stuffing” turkeys ahead for Thanksgiving. I’m tried [sic] to do a little putting away- hard to catch up for a year that I haven’t been doing it.
To Rhoads with Mary and Kenny for supper and then to Palace to see Don Cooper’s Hawaii. He says his brother is so slow he got struck by thunder. Pictures glorious.
Bought Kenny’s coverlet. From the Klinefelter family dated 1854 and 4 Colors- blue red gold and white. Paid $150 and I truly don’t know who got the best of the bargain.

To doctor Hering’s at 10 but he wasn’t in until 11. Removed to squami cell papilloma vein masses from my upper and lower lip and the wart from my chin line. Local anesthetic quick novocaine and used electric to coagulate blood and seal off veins. Stitches in all and I look like I’ve been in a car wreck.
Conference with Kass and Dave and then home about 1 feeling lousy. But made bows and typed genealogy for submission to the Marion Area genealogy book.
Called Kathi after 11 to assure her I’m okay.
