Sold POST ($48) 16 liner. Work, hot films. Average mail. Trella & I got LICENSE to wed, after nice letter from H.L. King. Trella has headache; I took load books up, doctored her, waw her to bed while Hemmerly’s took kids to Mary’s awhile; better, & I left as she was asleep (bed slept). Warm out (now 42 degrees)

Nice day – warmish too. Felt good! To Trella’s for lunch. Tonite we packed books here, lots of them. Dad called up.,

Acres for lunch. Met Weaver there. Nap evening; & we went to Weaver’s on Linda Dell [sic – Linda Mel Drive] & to Andrew’s – lotsa homes! Ate at Trella’s. Home 12:30.

Monday, February 2, 1953
($142.74) Some warmer. Grocery, hike, & home. Cleaned bathroom, bedroom & den. Hoch got 954 to Dick for sale. Tonite, then too, she & I invoiced (priced) furniture after. (me) Low a.m., better now.

Sunday, February 1, 1953
Cold! 10 degrees? Cleaned bathroom & kitchen, wrote Baker & Thomas, pomes. LEONARD’S GOT DESK & BOUGHT CHAIR.
P.M., helped move kids around at Trella’s, etc. Supper & evening there. Home 10:45. House cold.

Snow gone. To Trella’s for lunch. Tonite, she & Helen Leonard here 3:30, bout desk – $20. Later, after nap, to Trella’s for nice evening. Lotsa plans!

Snow going. Trella’s for lunch. Tonite cleaned dining & living rooks; ate & napped & worked 1 1/2 hrs in basement – filth? Bath, pomes a bit, called Trella & bed early.

3″ snow last nite, & my day off!! De-junked am. Pm had physical for insurance at Smyth’s (134 blood pressure!) & met Trella & we had blood test at Morgan’s. Klines for dress etc. Supper at 552 (-swell!), to Bill & Erma’s with plans – estimate, etc.

Colder – quite a bit! To Trella’s for lunch. Tonite, nap & had Sandra Jean in & we split up snapshots after all this time. We enjoyed it, contrary to my expectations.

Nice day! Sun & warm. Nap, pomes, saw John Merchant (eye removed Friday); Howards (& told ’em); & to Trella’s – bought $5,000 Life Insurance E.O. Smith & ate, & home 1:00
