Up at 7 or so, & off – 440 (?) miles, thru rain, mtns. (6 or 7″ snow& tuff on the hairpin turns), both drove. Long hard ride, but got to Mary & Forest Sheneman’s about 9:30 – beautiful new home, wonderful meal & people (met Ed, Sarah & Susan & Mary) Bed 12:30?+

Off day; lots to do; but condense it: We were married at 6:10 (?) at Trella’s; dinner at Reiger’s, off 8:45 for the SOUTH – Chillicothe very nice motel tonite – Mr. & Mrs. Romine.

Coldish, & tuff mail, rather at noon, we got wedding license, did banking. After work, while Kathy watched for coal man, etc, we talked Gugenheimer about wills & insurance. Metropolitan turned me down today!! Tonite, we packed & got set. Home 11:50.

Coldish & damp. Sinus – salt water treatment a.m. before work. Lunch at Chrispin’s. Haircut, too. Sandra Jean home tonite, after school- supper, TV, repaired basement light, read, split games, etc. And goodbye about 10:45.

Feel better, but rather low all day. Called Trella, tonite & stayed home. Bed early.

Lunch at Trella’s, David & ruined books- (blue without that). But we had dandy time square dancing at Country Cousins tonite. (Holiday Hill). Bed 12:40

Up, napped again & worked my den some, packin’ etc; Trella out at 9:30 & we packed, looked King’s butterflies from Florida. Dinner at her house, went Acres to bird & explore, supper her house & TV & headache again, her, terrific. I left 9:15.

Pomes; packed for Big Trip; worked on book-packing, & shelf-taking down in den; hole filling & painting up some. Tonite, “party” at Harold & Mary’s for Trella & me. Nice. Sinus head all pm, but better tonite.

Long Week-end. Worked in basement about all day! Packed, too & about time! Trella dropped in after Garden Club – we decided load books, etc. & eat there (552) & we spent evening working out accomodations, stops, etc., & seeing Rocky, Mary & Ray [Hemmerly].
