To Columbus GIft Mart with Kass & Judy. Hope I didn’t put my foot in it by doing some buying. Picked Dave & Chris up after track.

Picked Mary Brocklesby up for MCHS Board Meeting. Only 8 there.

Monday, February 21, 1983
Gloria Marshall 157 1/2 – Visited Mother. Burroughs Club at 1:00 – Gave talk on Birds. Home to get supper. Then in to pick up Helen Romine, Edith Keeler & Alice Caulfield to go to Travel Series Tahiti. Home at 9:45 & wanted to watch Grace Kelly’s story – Dave defied me & said he would watch what he pleased. I was very angry.

Sunday, February 20, 1983
Finished cleaning living area & in to Nursing Home at 12:45. Took mother to front door to greet Laura Bell Chambers & “Bipp” (Mary Elizabeth) George & Joan Minnich – all descendants of Aunt Josephine Hildreth Bell from Piqua. Nice visit there & then to Hemmerly’s to copy pictures & data. So much of their family was wrong & I apologized. Then brought them out here in my car. Mary & Ken here to meet them. Laura at 93 looks like a composite of all my great aunts (Hildreths) & so sweet & spry. Still in her home. Bipp has recovered from heart attack but has bone marrow deficiency like Daddy. But George said my letter & this trip had perked her up.
