In to Gloria Marshall & then to shop to pick up David & Jed & then Mary & Ken for lunch at Turoffs. Down to see mother after stop at Kegelmyers. My Olympia typewriter may be in at Bucyrus. Judy Etter’s barn burned – Wayne burning trash cased it. Terrible loss – and Dorothy Rutherford – Cheryl’s mother has bone marrow cancer.

David & Jed out here for trek in the woods. Picked Dave up after his 5 mile run for track. He took 55 min. & came in next to last but he made it!

We called Kathi. She may come April 13 instead of 20.

Monday, February 28, 1983 Crocus, scilla & winter aconite blooming

To Upper Sandusky court house to research Hemmerlys & Bakers. Found David & Sarah C. Baker marriage records, 1872 & lots of deeds. After 3 hrs. got sick & hot & nauseated so came home. Dave home not feeling well. But we watched the final episode of M*A*S*H 2 1/2hrs – the Korean War finally ended!

Picked Mother up at 1:00 – took her past 229 E Fairground & then to Mary’s – She cannot remember living there at Mary’s for a year. Out here so she could visit with Howard in the car (while I washed it) Then to Galion to take inserts in Region 2 OAHSM letters to Mary Finley – gorgeous antiques in her house.

Stopped to call at Boyds for Ola Mosier – Mary Jorden & kids came to car to see Mother.

Dave & I supper at Wendy’s. Watched 9 to 5 on TV.
