Worked along pond and waterway some more. Looks like a different placed. Dave worked for an hour with me cutting out dead bushes along pond. Mallard kept feeding with no note of us. Wore myself out but cooked chicken & dressing for dinner. Didn’t know I had bought a whole chicken – so cooked it whole. Watched The Thornbirds on T.V. Richard Chamberlain & Rachel Ward – filmed in Simi Valley, Ca instead of Australia.

In at 1:00 for Gloria Marshall – groceries – visit Mother. Stopped at Mame Harmon’s to pick up Landscape Design Material & brochure on trip to England June 26 – July 7. She wants me to go with her. To school to pick up Dave – not there. He was home as Mr. Crawford had to judge Science Fair so couldn’t stay for detentions.

Got the Hildreth Genealogy back that was lost in the mail – was in Cinci.

To ALtrus dinner – Bela Bower good on executive woman.

Royce here cleaning
Picked Dave up after his detention. Talked to Coach Kline. Heas at a loss to know why Dave quit track & hurt!

David up from Cinci – Supper here & then to Mt. Vernon to give talk on Minicomputers for Genealogy to Knox Co. Genealogy Soc. He had problems like Daddy had in 1922 when he took his home built radio to Oak St. PTA.
