Met Bob Jablonski Marion Planning Dir. at shop. He wants Hemmerly’s to open Flower Shop in Hotel Harding if it is developed. Down there for meeting.
He [David] brought my Osborne Computer – Zenith Video Screen & printer & set them up for me in my bedroom office. $2750 worth.
He broke down after supper – all the pressures got to him along with no money. I gave him $1,500 from my Boston Cash Managment Fund – No strings.

Cleaned greenhouse all day making way for seelings. Howard saw cock pheasant down by river AM & when Mary & Ken were here PM we saw wood duck pair on river.

Dug clumps of daffs & replanted in beds. 97 bulbs in 2 clumps! Transplanted alyssum, monarda, cabbage, cauliflower, mallow, salvia seedlings. Lettuce is up in garden.
Virginia Howard out to hang swags in my bedroom. The one on wide window too short & must be done over. Amerine here to see about exterminating red & black ants. Took Dave to Ind. Tech meeting while I picked up income tax, visited mother & had dinner with Heckers & Jordans. Fed tax $1,800! – some change from $8,000 before!
