Picked up Penney Diebert in Columbus about 10:15 & headed for Stokely farm N of Roseville. Marguerite Stokely Maddox has come home from the Nursing Home after 3 years. Found a girl to stay with her. Penny & I took lunch 7 fixed it for her. She asked us to bring things from upstairs down to parlor – yoke for carrying water – flail, candle mold, glass pot, yarn reel. Gave me a crockery canning jat from summer kitchen. Showed me cupboard with Civil war letters so I promised to go back & copy them & stay overnight in June. Over to see Franklin Ford & he will try to find Ford Bible.

Howard stretched lines for me to plant corn, beans, zucchini, melon seeds – tomatoe, pepper, cauliflower & broceoli plants. Also popcorn.

Called david but even after changing program the guest Badges print only the first 2. Frustrating.

Reading Jonathan Blair, Bounty Lands Lawyer 1815-1820, Ohio period of worthless money.
