Temp 90 – Feast Day
Mary & Kenny picked at 7:30 for trip to New York – Niagra Falls. He had a list & got up early enough so that all was checked off by time I got up. But it makes me feel like a big weight off not having to plan my days around him.
Plowed garden across road and replanted corn & cuburbits. Letter from Eamon and he will meet us at airport!
Took letters for committee chairmen & refunds to Imogene to mail as I have no class money. Visited mother – at high carbohydrate and porotein today on no jet lag diet. Judy over to protest Kass & Pat getting a raise and no one else did. I only knew Pat did.

Fertilized both gardens. Set out rest of cabbage, borcolli, salvia. Planted big pot with red geraniums for patio.

Made 5 glasses strawberry jam.Typed names for class photo. Mary & Kenney out with a Fujica 35 mm Auto 7 automatic camera they bought in Columbus. Ran a 12 pic roll through it. Mame called, Katz has not completed her arrangements.

Dave, Mary, Ken & I to Jackson Center cemegtery to plant 14 Norway Spruce trees. Faye Zimmerman’s idea since the cemetery looks so bare since the trustees killed the trees Samuel Baker planted in late 1800’s. Madge & Gail Z met us there as we picnicked – Fanny & Floy, Kathy Kim & family & Mr. Buxton & Steward, trustees. Planted Salvia by John Conrad Hemmerly’s grave.
