Left work at 4 & delivered 2 funeral pieces to Mt. Gilead. Mowed edges of lawn & pulled weeds. Over to Jordans to plan Nancy’s wedding flowers. Carl showed their Charleston pictures. Home 11:00.

Sunday, July 14, 1957
Finished Gist wedding & Daddy took it & picked up Kathy to service it at N. Canaan. Did church wedding at Trinity & then Moser-Luper wedding & took it to Prospect. Zella & Roy Hemmerly at folks. Everett Hemmerly brought them & went to motorcycle races.

Saturday, July 13, 1957
Rain again & then hot. Fromontana wedding at 10: – Shopped for mother. Kathy worked on Sunday wedding all day.

Friday, July 12, 1957
Hair cut – Shampoo & set. Gave talk to Town & Country Garden Club at Kilbournes on Perennials. Home for supper then back to do Tromontana wedding. David stayed in all night. Bed 11:00.

Thursday, July 11, 1957
Pulled weeds off back bank all AM. At 3:00 left for FHA picnic at Galion. Kids swimming. Mrs. Brooks & Mrs. Waite & I window shopped while kids played. Home 9:30.

Wednesday, July 10, 1957
Nothing doing at all at shop. Stopped by Rocky’s to see Hemerocalis. Blooming beautifully.

Slack at shop. Took David to Scout Meeting then drove over to Galion so Kathy could check on when the pool closed (for FHA picnic Thursday)

Jackie Harris wedding off perfectly. Took time of PM to go to reception with Kathy. Headache. Mary & Rocky & folks out tonight & showed their slides & movies of trip. Wonderful.
