Cooler! Weeded front beds & got Dave to pull grass along RR ties out front. Sorted pictures after labelling all of them. Picked gree beans & zucchini from garden across road & had for lunch.

In to see mother at 12 as Mary went to Sandusky on Trinity Senior Citizen Tour. Then to Southland Mall to find shorts. Shopped whole mall before any to fit. $12 at Fashion Bug. Got blouse – grey & white stripe at Suttons.

Home at 4 & slept until 7:30 – Too hot & sultry to do anything.

Dave has lived here for a year. He painted the Deacon’s bench on the front porch while I cleaned the living room fireplace.

Had lunch with Kass at Isaly’s. Upset that the employees who did not get raises are not speaking to those who did altho she didn’t realize why until I told her Judy had been to see me about it before I left. Told her I would tell Judy this was the way it had to be. Took Dave to see Return of the Jedi – Ugh! Visited mother & had dinner at Smorgasbord with Heckers & Jordans. Picked up prints at Meijers – $36 – Labelled them.

Neighbors mowed my 2 acres across road. Wheat was harvested last Thursday.
