Knocked myself out getting house ready for Quest Club Picnic. So windy we couldn’t eat out. But everyone seems to enjoy it so much. The Merle & Dale Hughes’ braved the porch with a few other hardy souls. They are just back from another around the world trip.

Practically sold out but still did business for Mother’s Day – and funeral work. Had wedding near Magnetic Springs. When I got home David had mowed whole area in 4 hrs with new mower. Howard over for supper.

With all the Mother’s Day rush in a constant downpour – Farmers Implement came with John Deere tractor & mower – 6 hp – $595 & our old Montgomery Ward riding job – for a $750 tractor. First time cash register ever went over $2,000 for one day.
