In to shop about 10- – David asking questions like mad – Felt like was taking my final examination. He was especially interested in bookkeeping procedures as he feels they could be handled better with a computer – do away with accountant. Cheryl in midst of billing.
About 11:30 Joe Halberstein called and said he had all the papers ready for me to turn my stock into the corporation for $111,000 leaving David & Kathi as the owers of all the stock – 130 shares. I will get about $1,500 a month for 10 years.
Took Judy to lunch at Isaly’s so David could get better acquainted.
At 1:30 went to Joe’s office & signed the papers.
Called Tim Albright at Soc. Sec. & told him I had sold my interest in Hemmerly’s. He said to bring copy in & apply – should get check in March.
To Altrusa dinner. On program on “talents” – Mine is “leading the Historical Society”
