Bought 1955 Ford Country Sedan. Red & white from Short Ford. With sales tax cost $1958 – with trade in from my ’53 Ford of $758 I paid $1200 – $700 from savings accounts & $500 from checking acct. Kathy & I shopping. Blouses, skirts, slacks for her. Tweed suit for me $20.
