Tom Bain helped pack books for shipping and Ruth Sloane stopped by and I put her to work too. I used the boxes they were shipped in cut down. Mailed 66 books to out-of-state addresses at book rate $1.91. Got 100 blister envelopes at $0.70 each and packed 58 to mail tomorrow to Ohio addresses at the parcel post rate of $1.76.
All this in the midst of a very busy Christmas rush.
Suggested Lydia Baker as the name for the colonial Dames of 17th century to Ruth. She had to asked for suggestions and Lydia was descended from William Brewster- Mayflower type!
Went to Denzer’s to see Barry’s mother. Lillian and I stayed about an hour as there weren’t many there.
