Terry to Fairgrounds with me to load up tables and clean up area. Mother insisted I talk to her and wouldn’t listen when I said I had to work with Terry in the garage. After I got him taken care of I went in and sat down to talk with her. She asked me if we brought back the shelf from the basement and I said “Yes, Terry took it back down and put it away.” She then said “Well I have a right to know what’s going on. This is my house and I’m not dead yet even if you wish I was.” So I left.
Called Mary to go out to dinner with them at Isaly’s- got caught in rain again. Mother told Mary I was mad at her but she didn’t know why. I was reminded of what she said to Mary Sheneman in Florida after she had hurt Mary’s feelings. “Why, Mary, no one pays any attention to anything I say to them so how could you take offense at what I said?” Guess she has always been a little “off”? David called, they will be only be here in an hour before going on to Burton’s. Beverly called to say they will be here Wednesday and Thursday next week and then back up for reunion.
[Note from David Haldeman, Trella’s son – Perhaps Ivaloo (Mother) was upset because no mention of her birthday on August 9 entry?]
